BREAKING NEWS!!

Prize Money Provided by CO-OP will be Redistributed to Nonprofits through the NetGiver App!

NetGiver, winner of the 2020 NACUSO Next Big Idea Competition, will give a portion of its prize money to 25 randomly selected nonprofits enrolled on the NetGiver platform. The donations will take place on December 1st, as part of #GivingTuesday.

"Start up is hard and, at times scary, but not half as terrifying as not knowing where you're sleeping at night, not knowing how to provide your children with their next meal, not having any support in a moment of crises," says Eric Berg, President of NetGiver, "Start up is, at its core, hopeful. We strongly believe that every little bit matters and we’re excited to be able to give back to a few of the nonprofit organizations on our platform who need the support.”

NetGiver is built to support and strengthen the credit union difference of ‘People Helping People’. NetGiver feels the responsibility and, as a startup, is fortunate to be able to give a little extra with these charitable donations. The nonprofits and the members who use the app are part of the NetGiver community. Investing in its community helps NetGiver grow and do more good. Any 501(c)(3) can enroll in NetGiver for free by visiting app.netgiverapp.com. All 501(c)(3) enrolled by #GivingTuesday will be eligible for a donation from NetGiver.

“We are proud to be partners with NetGiver as they recognize the importance of supporting us and our members in every decision they make as a growing company,” says Greg Worthen, CEO of My Credit Union.

The NACUSO Network Conference celebrated the eighth year of the Next Big Idea Competition, in an all-virtual event. Sponsored by CO-OP Financial Services the competition was composed of two rounds, the first of nine competitors and the second, NetGiver competed alongside the ‘final four’ with Illuma Labs, Posh Technologies,  and Pure IT. With new technology and services emerging at a rapid rate, NACUSO, and all participants, showcased that it is possible to innovate while still putting people first.
