Sharing an Impactful Week

NetGiver Update
Dear NetGiver Community -
Over the past couple of weeks, participating credit unions and their members have given generously through the NetGiver app, all fee-free and direct from their credit union accounts. In just one week, over $150,000 of donations to nonprofits were sent through NetGiver to support organizations through the COVID-19 crisis. The $150,000 are made up of over 100 donations, some as simple as $5, and many much larger, but all charities received 100% of the donation with no fees to the donor and no fees to the nonprofit.
Through the hard work of NetGiver’s partners, and word-of-mouth, NetGiver already has over 100 Greater Twin-Cities nonprofits enrolled in the platform, and we are adding more organizations every day.
While there are other giving initiatives happening right now through other platforms, those platforms all charge fees on those donations, reducing the impact of every donation. It’s not just the credit card fees but also the costs and caveats of the giving platforms through which nonprofits receive donations. With NetGiver, transactions move from the credit union member’s checking account directly to the nonprofit’s designated account. See below the impact of one week of giving with NetGiver:
Every penny matters to the organizations in our community, especially now as they struggle through uncertain territory where the need is greater and the resources scarce. Created by credit unions to live out the credit union promise of ‘People Helping People’, NetGiver helps members and nonprofits with more impactful donations and more mindful giving. NetGiver is the credit union exclusive, fee-free giving platform.
Thanks for all of your support and encouragement. We look forward to engaging many more credit unions in promoting the credit union difference - in and through our communities - with NetGiver.
Be safe, be generous whenever able, and be well.
