February Focus - NetGiver Celebrates Black History Month
Every February in the United States, we celebrate the achievements and history of African Americans as part of Black History Month. NetGiver is committed to supporting the diversity of our communities, and celebrating the organizations that serve under-represented populations.
This month was chosen, and officially became Black History Month in 1976 because it includes the birthdays of both Frederick Douglass, and former U.S. president Abraham Lincoln. In 2022, Black History Month emphasizes the history of the struggles Black Americans face still today, and reinforces the need to achieve racial justice.
